Ways to Protect Hair: Dryer and Flat Iron
One of the most satisfying sensations for a woman is seeing her hair completely straight, straight and frizz-free after long hours of brushing and straightening with the flat iron.
But did you know that you need to protect your strands before applying heat to them? No? Let me explain to you then!
What happens is that when the strands are exposed for a long time to excessive heat, they can lose their elasticity and moisture, resulting in brittle, lifeless hair, full of split ends and very dry!
But then should I stop using a hairdryer and flat iron? No friend, stay calm! Today I want to show you that there is a solution for this problem, ok? Follow these steps which is success!
1. Wash strands before drying and straightening
If you decide that you need to brush or straighten your hair, always thoroughly wash the strands, so as not to leave any residue! Straightening dirty hair will leave it looking greasy and can increase dandruff production.
2. Invest in thermal protectors
As the name implies, thermal protectors will protect your wires against the excessive heat released by the dryer and the flat iron! Creating a protective barrier, your hair will remain hydrated, with an appearance of vitality and more shine. The thermal protector is an essential product that cannot be missing from the hair care list!
3. Swipe the flat iron quickly
Who has never forgotten the flat iron stuck in a lock and when it's time to take it off, they came across that giant mark that didn't come out for nothing? One of the worst feelings, right?
When plating the wires, use an adequate speed to avoid marking or damaging them with such heat!
4. Don't use the flat iron every day
Your hair deserves a little rest, don't you think? If you wake up on that bad hair day, invest in different hairstyles, use barrettes, tiaras and bands to tie the strands a little and change the look!
You can also use finishing oils to reduce frizz, without having to apply heat to the strands!
5. Moisturize daily
Always have the habit of moisturizing your hair at least twice a week, so that your strands are always prepared to receive the heat, without breaks or split ends!
Post in homemade hydrations or specific hydration masks for each need of your wires, hydration, nutrition and reconstruction!
